Rhythm

Short levels, from keeping a steady pulse to dotted rhythms, syncopation, triplets and compound time, then both hands at once and polyrhythms. The notes sit on one line, or one for each hand, so all you read is the rhythm.

Rhythm is half of a sight-reading test, and keeping the pulse is what examiners listen for first.
